And I understood it... But I didn't really understand it until I went to sell my first business.
I was still in college and I thought I was killing it... Making a mostly passive $1,000-$2,000/mo from the business for years and eventually selling it for a nice $30,000 payday.
But when I saw what the new business owner did, I realized how much I lost by not having an email list. He added an email opt-in, emailed 2x/week, and sold the same site a year later for six figures.
A nearly $100,000 difference... All because of a simple email list!
That's when I realized how powerful email truly was and vowed to never make the same mistake.
Since then I've written 1,500+ emails to email lists in nearly every niche you can think of, managed $800,000+ in Facebook and Google ad spend (with a large chunk of this going towards lead magnet advertising), and helped dozens of business owners transform their business with email.
